My boys and I did a ride down from Keller peak on Memorial Day. 5 miles of downhill technical rocky single track. It was a blast.

Just recieved my Rocky Mounts Clutch SD mount for the bed rail from Alfred E. Bikes...
They sent me the wrong mount only a locking mount that doesn't come with the channel hardware.
I called Rocky Mounts, they said they have a lot of issues with Alfred E. Bikes not sending hardware and also sending the wrong product.
I asked him the quickest fix, he had me order the hardware kit instead of calling AEB. He said that AEB will say Rocky Mounts didn't package the product correctly and to contact RM. He said that Rocky Mounts packages all of their product by hand as they are a small company.

Just an FYI to others searching for the mount.

    Here it is...

Mods are currently being changed .....
I actually just developed some minor knee pain (medial) after some long 5+ hour rides. its been lingering for a week or two now, but I think its finally starting to improve. Its hard to stay off the bike when we get consistent, nice weather.
Surgery is definitely to be avoided! My father went through a knee replacement about 3 years ago now, and it did not look like it was an enjoyable recovery process :(

Chris, make sure your seat is adjusted properly if your having knee pain. For aggressive All-Mtn riding it is beneficial to have a lower seat ht. for descending, but if you're doing a lot of climbing consider putting your seat where there is only a few degrees of flexion at the bottom of the pedal stroke and lowering it for descents. I'm waiting on a new frame before I spring for a Joplin, GravDopper or Reverb etc. With medial pain if you happen to have a torn meniscus then its likely this will haunt you until it is surgically addressed. These tears just do not heal due to poor blood supply to the inner lip of the meniscus. Please excuse me if this is already info your aware of but cycling is truly one of the best sports/exercises for bum knees. cheers

LOL. Yes on the Pitch. Up to 160mm travel. I only have 140 right now. Ha the bike just over a year. Just fixing to head out to ride now. As far as the rack goes it is the only rack on MTBR.com to receive their "best of" award. It is CNC machined all aluminum. It works as I'd welded to the frame. It is that solid!

Could we get some close up side views of how the rack mounts?
