    When I was in CT, my friend and I stopped in a pet shop. She already has a 3 year old German Shepard, and saw a Shepard puppy (not sure how old) and fell in love with it. I saw a 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy and I was contemplating stuffing him under my shirt. If either of us had the money, and any less self control, we would have both walked out of the store with new puppies. :(:(

    You DO NOT want to get a puppy from a pet store... most of them come from puppy mills and the conditions are HORRIBLE and the dogs' health has not been looked after. I went with a breeder (could not find a puppy I wanted at a rescue or aspca) that has a guarantee for the pups hips and elbows. The only thing about this breeder is she hasn't checked her dog for EIC. She said she hasn't noticed any symptoms and the dad is negative.

    All puppies are cute and easy to fall in love with. Give her a call and we can have a meet at puppy picking day :D

    That was the same store she got her Shepard from, and she's a great dog. Obedient, crate trained, loving...I could feel her getting attached to me just over the weekend :(:(

    :facepalm: so you take a game where you get a LITTLE exercise and make it NO exercise :D

    Not saying she's not a good dog... but they usually are sick... my sister got a Boston Terrier (after I told her not to) from a pet store and the dog was SICK. took many trips to the vet and the pet store paid the bill, but the bills ended up being more than the cost of the dog...

    Call the breeder and see if she has any more puppies....
