No I did not... but do you know how many missing people are down there???? :D As for the 4Runner, Megan said "like hell" and she would then have the .45 to protect her 4Runner.

Bring a couple trailers... but your taking the bills too!

Uhh... Megan said she can't wait for the next meet.

Actually I was working with a the guy I bought the 4Runner from to get the sliders and tow bar attachment welded on.

Oh yeah - she giggled and asked if it was worth anything. Sorry man.

Yep... watching the road for Blake now. Hope he has done the "300 Win Mag bullet proof" mod. :D Maybe I'd just help him wear out those tires... try and take my 4Runner. Shit - I just have gotten to get her on the trail.

Yep - three inches past the outside of the tires. Done that way by design. I'm drawing out the way to have a detachable DOM pipe connect the sliders to the rear bumper so as to have almost a full length slider. No more damn tree anchors for me! Robert - no video, thank you very much.

That's what I was thinking... Sticking out that far, will it support the weight of the vehicle?

:duel: Good to see you here... and not in my driveway with a trailer.

The sliders seemed pretty stout. I stood on them and jumped up and down and the whole 4Runner rocked; they didn't deflect at all. Later on if they appear to have problems I'll reinforce them.

if you can lift it with a high lift without bending, then you are probably good.

The sliders came with 13" notched tubes to weld them to the truck. I had to cut two inches off to get them that "tight" to the body.

I thought you were describing Lake Granbury at first.

When I get it home I'll give it a shot. We will see if they need reinforcments or not. Either way I'll probably end up doing it anyways... I believe that over kill is the best kind of kill.

I would at least tuck them in so they don't stick out past the tires. There were spots that beau went through at Bridgeport that he wouldn't have made it if the sliders were out any further.

Suprised me that they sliders didn't come with them. I talked to my Dad and my buddy who welded them on and they both felt pretty good about doing it with out them since the pipe was 2" and not something like 1.5 or 1.75
