I could see that turning into a quad catapult if you hit a good enough bump and your straps are weak.

Anyway, checking in as a FJC owner on TW! :headbang:

I really like that color, but not as much as the green! I'm going to get my roof painted flat black at some point... i hate the white roof on my silver FJ.

Yeah, I'm fine with mine because I'm one of only 2 or 3 Sandstorms in my entire town and definitely the only lifted one.

Once I have it paid off I might coat all of my silver/white pieces with black Line-X. But that's a ways off.

Yeah, one of the benefits of having a silver FJ is that my handles, mirrors etc all match. :)

is the entire FJ frame boxed, or is it a C channel in the rear like tacomas?

I would go look for you, but that would consist of me going down 6 floors to the garage in a really slow elevator, which I am too lazy to do right now. But glad to see you want to come over to our side. You thinking LT or what?

I believe it is fully boxed. In the back there is a nice heavy duty non-cchannel cross member. the factory hitch is simply a plate with a receiver on it that mounts to this cross member where as tacomas have a bar that spans the frame for the hitch. you can see in this picture. this bumper/tirecarrier is only small end caps and a carrier leaving the cross member exposed. in the red box is the cross member and green is the factory hitch.

Search man, search! I would do it for you but I don't have time. Look up the rear suspension/frame of a 4th/5th gen 4runner or an FJ. They're all the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado frame.
