Hey so my reg is up july 21st or 29th and I've yet to get my reg. Has Cali changed their system or something? Usually I get my renewal 2 months in advance. If anyone knows what may be going on or know any ways i can avoid a dreaded DMV trip please chime in

If you are a memeber of AAA then you can go and fix the reg. there. Very easy to do. Some locations are open on Saturday to assist members. You can pay by either personal check or cash only.
    I hope this helps.

FOUND THE PROBLEM! My reg expires after july 1st and this is the msg on DMV's website. Heads up for you Cali people

IF YOUR REGISTRATION EXPIRES JULY 1, 2011 OR LATER DMV cannot currently accept your payment. Please try again once you receive your renewal notice. Renewal notices will be mailed on or close to the expiration date.

Late payment penalties will not be assessed for these renewals until 31 days after expiration.

Law enforcement is aware of delays and will not cite for expired registration until the first day of the month following the registration expiration date. For example: July registration will not be cited until at least September.
