Installed mine earlier tonight and noticed when the drivers side window goes up it seems to strike the front (the non-taped area by the mirror) pretty good. I was wondering if this was an issue with them or if other people had no problems?

Kinda wondering right now, they seem to be installed properly as near as I can tell but the lead edge seems to want to tip towards the window and angle in when I lower it back down.

edit: these are the In-Channel models

I had the same problem a couple years back with another Tacoma that I owned. I got the in-channel and installed them wrong up around the mirror. This was the first one that I tried to put on and when I pulled it back , it broke... Advanced auto parts gave me a new pair and I installed those with no problems at all ,no scrubbing when I let the window up. Might want to look at the illustration on the directions or check youtube ,the same thing happened to me, good luck

Yep, I put 'em in wrong... I got it pried back (w/o cracking) and put in behind the mirror cap. Now, hopefully the tape will bond up there (crosses fingers).

Keep your windows up for a couple days. That should seat them in good.

Was 93 degrees today after work (sweating bullets), I broke down and rolled them down halfway home. They seem to have seated pretty well, no wiggling or chatter. Back in driveway now rolled up.
