So my first mod is coming in soon, will keep you posted when I get it, nothing real fancy but it is a basket for my yakima racks, gonna pop a couple of cheap fog lights facing backwards on for backing up (my camper shell is dark as all get out) and I will mount my spare tire up there. Might put a couple of off road lights facing forward until I get a way to mount them up front.

I drove the 4Runner home after work with the sliders on. Let me tell you - they have to come off. They were catching so much wind sticking out that far I could barely keep it on the road. I clipped a BMW, cracked em on a Dodge Ranchhand bumper, and I have to open the door and jump into the cab because they stick so damn far out.

    j/k

I got home and gave them as much lift as I could with some 2x4s and my motorcycle lift. I did manage to take up almost all the travel in the suspension and the sliders didn't budge any. But I am figuring out how I want to reinforce them.... I'm thinking two pieces of 3/8" plate at 10 and 2 that extend 5" up the support and to the top of the frame.

Just got home from Best Buy with two new Cds, unfortunately my cd player is broke. Glad I found an old car discman and the tape player connection set up so I can listen to my CDs and my iPod. Leftovers from the 90's ftw!

I like having the capability to have a hard copy of my music in case my itunes craps out or whatever. But it is cute how futuristic y'all are. :p:rolleyes:

Yeah, I am running stock CD players. I might consider it but I am also considering picking up an aftermarket one, one that will hopefully last long enough. Let me think it over.

Yes, I just put in 5100's set at 1.75 by myself, in a apartment garage, without using spring compressors.

I'm going to be sore tomorrow.
