You did get the sarcasm, didn't you? I think Jerry's Nikon is a D300 IIRC? My wife's got a D80.

Bummer. Hey, is there any way down to the middle fork off of Driver's Flat Rd or McKeon Ponderosa Way? I used to ride my dirt bike down there in high school. I remember being scared to death driving down one of the hills with my dad in our '82 Toyota pickup because it was so steep! And I remember watching jeeps crossing the river down there and continuing up the other side (not to mention there was a class VI rapid down there where there was a cable where you would hook your boat to it and slide it along the hill past the giant bolders and rapids and then put it back in the water downriver...I know, no such thing as a class VI but that's what I would call it if you had to get out and go around.).

blue how much stuff near you is green sticker legal? I know about mammoth bar but If you cant already tell im not like most people i know into atvs with their damn tracks and shit, i like riding out in the woods and hittin trails and covering distance ... optimally not hittin the same trail twice in a day ... wouldnt mind a guided tour if you happen to have one too

Did the forest service open all the gates for the ohv roads and trails up there? They had a ton of snow I know I went up there a few times but the roads were closed. I live in Lincoln and we could hook up sometime up there to do to trail running. Sometimes I like to take my dog up there and give her a good run. There must still be snow on the dirt roads up there right?

The gate up by China Wall is supposedly open but I haven't checked myself. Theres a few inches or so at Sugar Pine but gets deeper quick the higher you go. This is what most of the dirt roads look like
