mounting would be the same, it'd just be a longer rack to fit the 6 ft bed.

 

Anyone ever tried Insanity? or do yall know any good workout routines?

i've heard good things abotu insanity though.

feeling i've gotten for p90x is that if you aren't in shape, it's the greatest thing, but the more in shape you are the less effective it is.

 

Thanks, I'm gonna start goin to the gym. I thought maybe do Insanity at home for an hour like it says and then go to the gym for another 2 hours. What do you think?

 

you gonna have a trainer at the gym or just be by yourself? if you won't have a trainer, have a very speciffic workout in mind, or it's easy to get sidetracked and waste time

 

How much does a trainer usually cost?

 

2 hours at the gym?? wow. i have never been able to spend more than an hour in a gym.... trainer prices vary. my wife has a trainer twice a week and pays like 240 a month.

Have you considered getting into a sport or hobby. I imagine you will be more motivated if you enjoy it.



I pretty much finished up my exhaust re route. All I have left to do is paint it and wrap part of it. I see why you don't like doing exhaust Colin. All was hunky dory welding it up away from the truck but welding that piece in was a bitch and then it leaked. That was a lot of fun trying to get the top sealed off when it's tucked as high as possible. All in all I'm happy I got it done and I'm pleased with how my y pipe ended up. I pretty much just copied the one for the exhaust cutout. Oh and the truck is a little louder when it's dumping the exhaust right at the O2 sensors.

Do you know if I was supposed to cut a hole in the longer of the two pipes there?

In the longer of the two tubes in that y pipe, I notched the shorter tube.

looks good though.

the sealing part does suck. especially since no matter how covered up you are, welding directly below something always seems to burn one way or another.
you're all set (truck wise) to start skids now just gotta get that plasma cutter.

i think i might hold off on the oxy setup for a week or two and get a tube bender. something that'll do up to 1.5 inch diamiter. i think at least to start out, it will be more useful to the business than an oxy-acetelyne setup

 

good choice. the bender will be used like 90% of the time and the oxy like less then 5%

that's what i figured. the oxy will mostly be used for cutting plate steel, with the ocasional weld or just plain heating up application. pretty much everything will have a bent tube in it somewhere, and i can't be limited to 3/4'' thin wall with the hand bender. i just have to decide weather i want a hydraulic or turn wheel. the hydraulic is easier, but less versitile. the hand wheel type is harder to master, but infinately adjustable as far as the bend radius goes.

correct. i have only used the hyd one and it is very easy to use, but a lot more expensive.
