    When I was buying the truck, I pushed the button while asking the salesman what does this button do :D

    The way he explained it, was that you have like a small window when the vehicle starts to sense the extreme angle to toggle it off, but the switch doesnt do anything until that few moments before.

    This button disables the Rollover Side Curtain Airbags. If going offroad at extreme angles, hold the button in for a few seconds and a light on your dash will appear that says "RSCA off". if you put the truck into an extreme angle that is close to rolling over, now the side curtains wont deploy. you'll be happy you did this!

    Little old bringing this thing back. Why bother putting that feature on the base model Pre Runner? Cant see myself going for some steep angles with my 2WD. Might be a dumb question but just curious.

    Toyota doesn't want to be sued when airbags go off despite no rollover occurring? Idk

    Also, I thought it was more inertia than angle. As in, if one side of the truck suddenly drops too fast, it may accidentally think you rolled it.

    Oh, and you can do all sorts of crazy driving in a prerunner, check out the LT guys!
