    Hey all,

Sorry I have not been posting much. Been a long couple of weeks. My wife went to the doc, they sent her for a mammogram, then a biopsy, then a long 5 days of waiting to hear the results.

No Breast cancer, but a big tumor that has to be removed. We are both SUPER Relieved as you can imagine.

I hope to make the TSF run Friday and part of Saturday, but that is my anniversary weekend, so I can't make the entire weekend. And we have to see when they schedule the surgery.

What time is everybody meeting at the McD's Friday?

    J

I hear ya on the medical stuff. My grandparents have a lot of issues that my family gets to deal with, and even good news isn't easy :p

I've made myself ride leader for the Friday caravan. Instead of McD's, we are meeting at the Thriftway in Banks, which will leave at 6:30.
The reason for the change in location is that our more western-living members have to backtrack to North Plains. Banks is less backtracking, and it doesn't effect us 'easterners'.

I just accepted a new job at the Hawthorne Farms Intel which starts Monday, so my personal schedule has changed a bit, but I'm pretty sure I can keep this timeframe. I'll keep everyone posted if something changes.

EDIT: You can also look at first page of the Northwest Scheduled Meet Calendar thread to see the most recent news.

Great news on no breast cancer, James. Sounds like a scary time. Thinking positive thoughts for the outcome of her upcoming procedures. It would be cool to see you at TSF.

OK. I will check with wifey on her plans for weekend. Anybody else need a roommate for Friday night, or should I pack my tent? (and cooler and beer and food)

Congrats on the job! I am across the street from HF, so we should see each other! Which building will you be working in? If you park in the HF2 lot, my office is right there next to the light rail tracks.

I've seen a few before, same thing as an F350 so it should be plenty. Diesel's just costing crap right now, but a gas engine would just cost as much if not more at the pump due to mpg.

Just call em up in the morning. Earlier you call Autozone the better chance you have of the tech not being stoned. Don't wait till the afternoon when the managers leave ;)

So I ordered a CB and a Firestik, hoping I can install for the TSF run. Anybody have an SWR meter they can bring to tune the antenna?
