Yeah man my first truck was 2wd and I was always left behind, and walking to the bone fire. NEVER AGAIN LOL!!!! But honestly i'll never purchase a 2wd truck. 4wd is so usefull and its like insurance offroad.

 

never owned a 2wd because of the winters up here, but i see them stuck all over the place when it snows.

just wait till you get in a bad spot off road with 4x4.....then a winch (or a friend's winch in my case) becomes your insurance.

 

That's why I need a bumper!!! I think if money is right (I already talked to cbi about a trailgear style low pro tube) Ill just pay the $500 and get it. Rear bumper isnt really a concern.

I just got stuck in such pussy shit in my 2wd dakota.... it was depressing... wet grass!

 

I'd say that latch for the trailer with the hooks on it was GREAT insurance as well.

granted, i've gotten a lot of use out of it in a short peoiod of time, but i take care of my welder and it doesn't look as new as that. it's ahrd to keep tools looking brand new, but that cutter does. i'd say you're on the right track with that offer

to be fair, i've never really seen you offroad. followed you though a puddle, but that's abotu it. we always seemed to be in different groups at citrus. i did however witness you having a fun time trying to get up that hill for the group photo. it's too bad that locker didn't work, or else that kind or thing would be cake.

i don't doubt that you're quite the driver. we'l ltry to get in the same group next trip.

now that i think about it actually, i've met pretty much everyone, but only wheeled in the same group with very few, and wheeled hard with even less.
moral of the story is we need to have more meets

 

i second that but cant be in tampa all the time we gotta find more places becuase driveing 2 hours gets boring

 

you're telling me. only thing around my area, or between the two of us is mud though at least that's all i've been able to find.
