Just scored some brand new 886's for $45 shipped (yes, hate on). I currently have a 1/4" and a 1/2" toytec spacer in my stash. Will I need the 1/4" on the 886's to compensate for the taco lean? And to anyone insterested I will be selling my Eibachs with ~ 3K miles on them.

I am very happy to get away from a preloaded Billy.

in fact if you put in the top plate spacer, your CV boot will rip (that's what happened to mine, so I took it out)

Just a bunch of old crap
If you don't put the 1/4" top plate spacer on the driver's side, you will have lean though. Those coils are exactly the same size/strength on both sides, so...

I'll trade them with you for my month old 885's. I have a winch and AP bumper and actually NEED 886's so I can sit level again without having to preload my 5100's. $50 cash plus trade?

Nothing is wrong with the Billies. Just looking to move to a non-preload setup.

Do you plan on getting a bumper? If not, those 886s will be overkill.

This sounds like the best plan to me. If the OP doesn't have an aftermarket bumper, then both of you have the wrong springs for your application.

I do plan getting a beefy plate bumper just waiting on Relentless to move before I put in a serious inquiry to him.

Edit: and I will go going the Nitrocharger route.
