What did you think the Toyota logo was?

I got my first Toyota truck when I was 15 and am on #3 now.
I've always wondered what the logo actually was until I finally researched it today.
What did you guys think it was when you first saw it?

The two inner ovals represent the hearts of Toyota and the customer, intersecting means there is trust between them.
The larger outer oval is the growing company expanding technology throughout the world or some blah blah blah like that.

I always thought it looked like a bull or a cowboy, but a Japanese cowboy didn't make much sense so I figured it was a bull.

It's a T , I see a T ,the dealer saw a T , all of my friends see a T , Whats going on?

 

Every letter in the word TOYOTA is in the T logo.. The T is for TIME TO LEAVE RICHY RICHER!

And it's "Toyota" rather than "Toyoda" because the former takes 8 strokes to write in Japanese rather than 10 for the later (the family's name).

Eight is lucky in Japan (unlucky in China). Seven in unlucky in Japan though. Cue rainbow.... The more you know.

I always thought it was a resemblance of a bull but actually spelled out T.O.Y.O.T.A. I guess im fried.
