^^ wet sand them at 2k until its completely gone, then spray them with clear coat. Worked for me, brought the shine back to them.

Dang that paint looks good. I need to spend a long afternoon doing a complete once-over.

Side note - anyone have a good source for paint touch-ups for an 03 DC in black? i've got a handful of large-ish rock chips that have light rust starting and scratches i'd like to fill in prior to a full clay/polish/wax

Use a restoration kit - costs about 15-20. it includes sanding pads, lube, and a sealer. I did mine last year and they turned out pretty good, just don't skimp on the sanding...take your time.

In the middle of herculining my sliders right now because the paint didn't hold up well at all. I noticed a lot of rock chips near the bottom of the door and bed... should I herculine that too while I'm at it??

What do you guys think? If so, how far up?

Just ordered a set of Toytec Add-A-Leafs and some 5100s all around from Downsouth.
Should fit the new Hankook 265/75/16s just right.
She got an oil change Friday too.

Now - if I could just swap my color-matched factory flares for some black ones.

I'd swap my color-matched bumpers for chrome if I could find them too.

Any takers near Evansville Indiana (way-Southern Indiana)?
