What did you guys have BEFORE the tacoma???

Dude! I remember seeing your truck on GMFS way back in the day. In fact yours was the inspiration for the SS front end on my old bagged RCSB.

My first car was a 1990 VW Corrado G60

Looked exactly like that except in red. That supercharged four cylinder could haul ass.

Then bought TWO new VW 2.5 Rabbits. Loved those things. Unfortunately both got totaled. One got hit by a drunk driver. Other one a woman pulled out in front of me and I T-boned her. Then got a Honda Element. I hated that toaster of a car. Drove it til it died on me, then traded it in for a Taco!

 

tacoma is my first vehicle. i had 3 mongeese <??? out grew the first traded the second one in for the latest.. its sitting around rusting and collecting dust...

 

2001 Chevy Monte Carlo.

It was my first new car I bought. Got at a great deal. It was loaded with options too.

 

06 corolla 110k miles on it, my dad still uses it.

ya i was thinking the same thing. have you always been on the TBSS forums with the same SN? cuz the name sounds familiar... you make vinyl decals for the SS symbol, right?

 

My first car was a '89 Oldsmobile ninety-eight regency (my grandpa's car). I destroyed it when I was t-boned in the middle of an intersection, so I bought my buddies '98 Oldsmobile intrigue, drove that until it fell apart and bought my '09 Taco the day after Thanksgiving '10.

 

1. 1995 Camry (still runs with over 260k miles on it)
2. 1996 Tacoma (freebie/bday gift from the dad when he purchased his 07 Tacoma Quad Cab)-- still runs as the bro drives it now with appx 111k miles on it
3. 2006 Tacoma (obviously)-- currently has about 55k miles on it

I also would occassionally drive my mom's 02 Camry in high school

 

From oldest to most recent:
'95 4x4 SC Toyota P/U, just before the Tacoma came along.
'96 Jeep Cherokee.
Eighty something VW Golf. Bought it for $1k, drove it for a year 'til the transaxle blew up.
'88 4x4 SC Toyota P/U.
'07 Jeep 2dr Wranger Rubicon, modded to the nines! Sad to see it go but it was time to move on.
Lots of cycles in the mix, too.

1987 dodge d 100 barely ran but i had a lift rims and nitto terra grapplers..also it had a door that leaked spedometer was off carbuerator was re built 5 times in 2 years and it broke down on a weekly basis
