    picked up 25 bags of concrete at 90lbs a piece. Thats 2250lbs on a 3leaf with an aal. I intentionally didn't fill up and only had about 1/8 of a tank, otherwise I would have probably been resting on the bump stops for the whole 2 mile drive home.

    He has an aal... are you saying the TSB is more effective than an aal?

    2250lbs is seriously overloaded no matter how you beef the leaf pack, but for a short trip OP shows it is capable.

    The problem with hauling that much weight is you could bend your leafs. I know after hauling loads of crushed rock, tree rounds, etc. that my TSB leafs weren't quite the same.

    These are tough trucks. But I wouldn't recommend doing that too often. Nice to know they're capable of it though.

    Bend your leafs, damage you axle, overwork the transmission and brakes. There are a ton of reasons not to overload a truck like- Glad the OP made it safely...hope he doens't start finding puddles under the truck!!
