Tube steps stopped further damage from a little fender bender that I was involved in. With that said what do you think my repair cost is going to be? Also has anyone had their doors repainted? If so can you post pics. On the tacoma there's this rough spot on the bottom of the doors is guess to protect from chips n stuff. I wonder if the body shop will be able to replicate that.

While parked in a parking garage, my truck got hit and the bastard didn't leave a note. They hit me between the cab and the bed, but scraped the driver's side access cab door so the body shop completely repainted the door and the rock chip. My insurance covered it, so I don't how much it would cost you out of pocket, but fyi they will replace the rock/chip guard stuff. Here are some pics of mine after it was done. Oh, and I got some tube steps after this. Next time the steps will make sure to mess up the bastard's car.

They're OEM tube steps from the dealership. I think they are made by DeeZee for TOYOTA.

If you're looking for some check out TRDparts4u.com or Toyotaparts4u.com. They have black one and the gray one on there.

Shok Industries 2/0 big 4 upgrade and sound deadener.
I've been quoted $800 (at Maaco) up to $1200 for repainting both of my driver's side doors so I've been holding off on it so far. As long as it's not to the metal you should be okay. You could also try a salvage yard, should be cheaper that way.

The other driver is at fault and their insurance accepted full Liability. Took it to the body shop and it its about $2,700 in damages. They're going to repair and repaint both doors and the rear door cab area and front door pillar area. I hope they do a good job matching the paint to the fender and bed.

I finally got my truck back today. Will update with some pics. Well... I gotta say it looks pretty damn good. The paint almost match perfectly. I was told not to wax the freshly painted area for 30 days. I really need to wash, clay, polish, and wax the rest of my truck. What can I do to avoid getting the new paint. The front door, rear door, and right rear fender flare was painted.
