I have a 4 cyl tacoma prerunner and i just removed my exhaust. I like the sound of it being straight to pipe but is it possible to make it a little quietier?
    Anything helps!!!

They make these things called mufflers that do exactly what you are looking for.

You like the sound? When my catalytic converter was stolen I had to drive it home and it sounded terrible. I felt like a complete tard driving it. Do people look at you while driving? Those are not cool looks.

It will sound quieter if you weld in some sort of aluminum or steel chambered and insulated box for the exhaust gases to pass through. Should muffle that sound a bit.

Well not really, considering it's a lifted 2.7 4x2, I think mine would actually travel slightly faster and better.

Well, you can't measure it from the wheel well to the ground, you need to measure from the bottom of the drop-bracket.

This is turning out to be rather entertaining. Can't wait to see what the d-bags have to say to lil miss susie q...personally if she wants to chop her exhaust by all means go for it. I did it on my blazer, didn't like it so got a cheap muffler welded on, until I flipped the thing a week later.
