Just looked at it again and there is a 17 towards the front of the barrel. I guess that means G17?

I plan to get my conceal carry permit (before Obama outlaws it) and head to a shooting range. I've always enjoyed shooting, just never felt like spending the money on a gun...

You should go to Glock's web page and look for the instructions on getting a user manual. I think I saw somewhere that you have to fax them your info and gun model. As for spending $$, the ammo will quickly start to add up if you get enough range time in to become proficient but it's worth it.

On the political note, conceal carry is a state issue so the new president will not be changing that (even if he wanted to which he doesn't). The supreme court's decision on the DC gun ban further edifies the 2nd amendment so there's no need to worry.

It's a bear to conceal a G17, if your gonna carry i'd look into picking up a G19 or G26 if you want to stay with a 9mm. Otherwise look into a G29.....

Great idea! Never thought of that...

While I realize the gun laws are mandated at the state level, this new president and congress seem hell bent on consolidating all the power to the federal level. So, I put absolutely NOTHING past them...

Realistically, I have no plans to actually carry a concealed weapon with me wherever I go. I mainly just want to be able to have it in the car with me, or have the freedom to carry it on me if I want. And while I don't know the model number, my dad tried to give me his smaller Glock first. He told me it's easier to conceal. However, he ACTUALLY carries his everywhere he goes and needs the smaller gun and I liked the larger one because it was much more comfortable in my big ass hands!

Thanks for the tip! My dad told me the same thing... Suggestions or will any old ear plug do?

Their plan is to make ammo so expensive, no one will be able to afford to shoot their guns. This is an intelligent way around the 2nd w/o having to actually confront the nation with gun control.

Absolutely! It's just really scary that these politicians care absolutely zero about the Constitution and it's intentions, but more about simply imposing their will on us regardless of the cost to our freedom.

However, what's worse is the fact that we, as an American public, keep voting these people back in to office. :frusty:

Great video! And this is EXACTLY why I think gun control does nothing but rob law abiding citizens of their guns. Criminals don't obey any other laws, why in the hell would they obey gun laws?

I finally have a gun now (albeit only one). But if you want to take it from me, you'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands!
