10% Off Coupons

Someone mentioned this to me and I thought it was a good tip so I'm passing along. When you move, a lot of stores will mail you discount coupons (Home Depot or Lowes for example sends you a 10% off coupon). People are actually selling these on Ebay for around $1/ea. I picked up 10 Lowes coupons for $14 shipped. Plus, Home Depot and Lowe's typically honor each other's coupons. If you're doing a home improvement project, they're always nice to keep with you. If you only have 1, you're likely to save it for a bigger purchase even though you may make 10 trips and spend under $50 for each one, but if you have a stack of coupons, you can take them with you every time and save 10% consistantly. Beware, some of these are fakes so look at the buyer's feedback!

 

fyi, you can always get a lowe's coupon by getting a movers kit at the post office....

 

military discount is 10%. also lots of times you can get a salesman to mark it down 10% for you. I use to work at lowes in high school and we would mark lawnmowers and yard equipment down to help get a sale. It never hurts to ask. Start asking for 10% at places you usually go, maybe you will get lucky! the worst they can say is "no".

 

I got one when I moved and changed my address but I'm talking if you're renovating and know you will have multiple trips to Home Depot or Lowes in the near future. We're redoing most of the house so I've already made at least 10 trips and I'm sure there will be many more. Now I save 10% everytime I go

 

I tried that on the cabinets and they wouldn't budge. I ended up buying from www.cabinetstogo.com (we have a store local) and they absolutely smoked the big box stores!
