Sweet. I need to get an oil change soon. Its amazing how good these newer tacos are with oil! I've gone nearly 10K miles since my last synthetic change and its only starting to look dirty

mine rarely looks dirty either with 187xxx on it almost with full sythetic, it doesnt burn oil and it runs really clean, of course i only go 3000 miles because my truck's an old man and but i think i could probably go every 5k im just afraid of doin that, it seems way to long for oil to be in an engine

what are you hooking up? is it a 4 prong? and do your truck lights still work with or without it plugged in? and did you check all of your fuses? i hooked up a 4 prong trailer light kit to my truck, it plugged into the back of each rear light housing, double check to make sure everything is plugged in properly, pull your housing out to double check. I've never had any connection problems

Yes it is the 4-prong setup. The truck lights work when the trailer is plugged in, it just has to do with the trailer light. I did not check my fuses, do I look for one that might be blown out?Im going to unplug the truck harness ans clean it with a wire brush, if that doesn't work I might end up getting a new one from Napa. I NEED that boat this weekend, for the Shaver fishing derby.

I'd definitely check for blown fuses or any messed wires causing a short.

Actually its too funny not to mention. I had a blown fuse and didnt even notice it....besides the one that was really blown.

    Perfect example of miscommunication lol.

    Me: I think its blown

    Billy: Which one is it?

    Me: That blue one

Billy: Ok *pulls a different blue fuse but also happens to be blown*

Billy: Ok I put a fresh one in, are the lights on?

    Me: No...wtf did I DO!

    hahaha

Ok thanks Im going to look ever everything today and take a look at my fuses. The truck was hooked up about 4-5 years ago and it was towing fine. Hopefully its a fuse and nothing shorted out.

Finished doing my rear differential breather this weekend. Anyone killed time with their Tacoma due to the rain?

Nice!I need to do that soon. My friend and I went to a mud spot that sucked and just had fun cakin' up the stock tires. Oh dude I think I have seen your truck! Around Clovis I have seen another Tacoma with front and rear bumpers with a stinger in front, just like the one I got from Trail-Gear.It was a stock truck with some sweet bumpers.
