    i had Battlax's on my Busa they wore out too quick imho....i move to Michelin Pilot Road 2's they are a dual compound tire so basically you could get double the mileage out of them...if you want a sticky tire you need to stay with a single compound tire

    I concur with the Pilot Road 2s...Hard center compound for commuting/normal riding and stickier outside edges for better twisty performance.
    I LOVE Bridgestone tires-but I had the same problem with the Battlaxs..Wore down quick. I do use Bridgestone BT-00X (I guess they will be 003s) for the track when I go.

    thanks guys but i already ordered the battlaxs. i only get to ride for a few monthes of the year so i should be ok.

    well on your next tire change in about 5k miles or so upgrade to the PR2's you will not be disappointed

    thats ok. that might be in 5 years. i checked those out and they dont come in the sizes i need but they look good.

    id wear a set of battlax out in a couple of months lol and i can also ride year round here last time we had snow it was 1989 its 33c here today
