i wish i could get ahold of whoever makes these automated phone calls. the first time i listend and the realized i had a 1992 jeep cherokee so the was no way i had any kind of factory warranty and then they called again and again. now i have an 09 tacoma which is two months old and they are starting to call again. i just stayed on the line with them to talk to an actuall person and as soon as i said i would like them to stop calling, the lady hung up on me. about 5 min. later i got the same automated call again. AAAArrrrrrrggggghhhhh. We get the same calls on our work phones on a government phone on an Air Force base. this shit really needs to have laws or something passed against it.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Yeah, this works. And if they do continue to call, simply register a complaint. You don't even need to know the company name.

I got another one of these calls yesterday at work and when I called the caller id # back it is a generic recording, "...the company that called you uses our services to contact you and you can add your number to the internal do not call list to stop receiving future notifications of services/products..."
We'll see if they stop or if I just signed us up for 40 other sales call lists?

i got one of these once...now...mind you i bought my truck used and did not pay for the warranty from carmax so there has never been a warranty in my name on my truck...

it also came on my cell phone that i had gotten a week before (new number)

i guess i got lucky because the girl was nice...but i pitched a ROYAL fit over the phone without giving her any of my information...it all started with me asking her what sort of vehicle i had and how she knew my warranty had expired...

i actually got transferred to a "supervisor" at which point i demanded that not be called again as my number was already on the do not call list...and if i got another call from anyone trying to sell me a scam warranty i'd take their asses to court so fast their heads would spin

    that was in oct

i havent gotten another call :D
