Sliders for sure. I'd like full belly pans eventually. Some of the sites I looked at after a Google search mentioned that a gate was locked on private land so it will probably be worth a call to the BLM Klondyke ranger station to get the most up to date info. Probably a fall trip as well.

Did everyone see that the Coronado National Forest is completely closing this Thursday. I hope this isnt an omen that the other forests are going to close as well. Come on monsoon rains!!!!

Good. It sucks, but since these assholes keep burning our state down I'm happy they're doing it. I do hope they have full patrols still running though.

 

my cabin is with a few hundred yards of the fire, that update was 2 hours ago

 

buddys fire is right in that area, they dont know yet if the fire claimed their property.

we got 30 mins to get out as much as possible, we saved the quads,rangers, some furniture and paintings and guns

 

damn, you guys were there as it was happening?!

 

i wasnt, family was, a ranger stood with my uncle and literally timed him, it's burned all around it as of what i can see on the live map

dam patrick im sorry dude. the fire is about half a mile from my grandparents house up in alpine. the forest service came to evacuate them and my grandma was on the phone with my dad and i and we heard my grandpa yelling at them "fuck all of you im not fucking leaving get the fuck off my property" haha but my grandma made him leave because she has to get surgery and she cant miss it... i hope your guys place is okay, and i hope my grandparents is too..

for anyone who might be interested, I posted my bed basket up for sale. 200 OBO. comes with up to a 33" spare tire mount, 2 jerry can mounts, hi-lift mounts, quick fists for a shovel and still room for a couple duffle bags.
