D3000 here I love it! No real need to spend more unless you are going pro.

    Thanks Neil.

I forgot to mention that it's tinted too, funny to watch people slow down and watch me as they pass trying to figure out if I am a cop or not.

I'll post pics if anyone is interested.

There ya go! get some of the other mounts for the bikes/ kayaks too! I almost brought my gopro down but didn't feel like wasting a ton of batteries (i have the older one that runs off AAA's :(
I think this might be my next camera. gotta get that truck first though... i may be able to push my point and shoot a little bit longer.
i was just thinking about that earlier.... "i wonder how many people think he's a cop?" That might actually get annoying to me.. people slowing down real fast and actually doing the speed limit... and for the real paranoid people, under the speed limit.

5100's all 4 corners, front at .85 with Eibach Coils, Rear TSB w/AAL, TRD Catback Exhaust, AFE Pro Dry S, Duratracs, redline hood struts, maglight mod, weathertechs
Do you like your go pro? There is another brand ContourHD that they've actually used on Dirty Jobs. It's about the same price. Decisions to be made.

It's not bad, it's rather amusing to watch the cars behind me form a wall and creep up. The people who are going slow actually move over so I have found that I am touching the break less and in theory using less gas.

I like it a lot. The battery life sucks but I have heard to use lithium batteries. Just haven't gotten around to picking those up yet. The newer go pros are better about that apparently though. Everyone on here seems to be liking theirs. I like how many attachments you can get for them.
:D By the time your done with this truck you could probably have bought a decent pre taco 4x4! :p I say Lift, then locker, then 4x4 conversion! :woot:

As far as MPG that remains to be seen, but I will post back once I have some numbers. I was averaging 24 before the 235/75/15 and the lift. After I was averaging 20.5... The crown vic is rated at 25mpg highway, so I am hoping that I will average the same in it. If so then the only extra expenses are the car payment and $100 yearly increase in our insurance premium. It's not the fastest car that I have driven or been in, but it will get up and move for a car it's size. I am not going to be doing that often because I can literally watch the gas needle drop when I do. It also maintains it's inertia really well, similar to putting on the cruise control for half a mile or so...

I think you would be happy with the D3000 or 3100. I am just scratching the surface of all the funtions.

Looks like a fun meet guys! I'll make a meet one of these damn days!!

Anybody else notice a surge of Taco's in the Cinci area? I swear I've seen a bunch of new 2nd gens driving around and a wave of 1st gens. Wish I had Tacomaworld business cards to give them.
