    Prednisone will definitely give the Marshmellow affect after after prolonged use. For short term use - it's a great anti-inflammatory and energy booster.

    They happen here and there, but usually she can slow it down by vagaling herself (pretending like you're pooping).:eek: But she's been hospitalized 3 times in 1 year for it now. So she now's on a new med then off to the cath lab in a few weeks....

    Me too. Funny thing is, I was the first medic to push Adenosine on her. I was on the ambulance the day she had her first bad attack and her house was in my territory that day. Nothing like pushing a drug on your baby sister that's going to stop her heart for a few seconds, then restart it.... :eek:

    I'm not sure LOL I remember my partner couldn't get the IV started, so I said "Get the F away from sister.:mad:" And I think my protective mode kicked in gear. I even joked with her at the time and said if this doesn't work I get to use the paddles on you.... tee hee Trying to joke with her to make her feel a little more at ease. Had her heart not restarted, I'm not sure how I would have handled that.
