maybe,............but I would never put money on that dream. You are the favorite going in, but I have not seen the better team part yet. I would be nervous about the future if I were you. Good luck.

Did you not watch the first 2 games? Boston was clearly outplayed in every aspect. When that became apparent to them they resort to whining about bullshit things like "the bite". Granted, head games are a big part of the game and if the skate was on the other foot, the Canucks would still be whining (just like Boston is now!)

Game 3 was a meltdown for sure but will it happen again in this series? My money says no.

Chara and Rome were given the exact same penalty, 5 and a game.
Maybe Chara wasn't suspended and Rome was is because Campbell's son plays for the Bruins?
The only difference in the 2 hits were Horton was a blindside hit, at least Pacioretty had his head up.
No way Rome should have got 4 games.

Campbell was not allowed to make any disciplinary decisions for the Bruins, Mike Murphy made any decisions that affected the Bruins this season.

let it rest god damn it, you can go back and name multiple examples of hits that were worse that didn't result in suspensions, and hits that were much less violent, that did. NHL officiating is shit. Canucks really didn't lose much. Romes wont make or break the series. Bruins should be the ones pissed, missing a key player, but they clearly proved missing Horton isn't going to stop them. Let's move on to game 4, and not bitch about the hit. Like it or not, everyone is biased when they are supporting their team, end of story.

And therein lies the problem. Had the on-ice officials set the tone early, the Rome thing may not have happened. There were plenty of opportunities that would have made an excellent 1st penalty of the game but when you pick a chicken shit call to start or you do nothing about a clear violation, you send a message that is absolutely the wrong one to send and players often make officials pay for their mistakes

If you think that Rome's hit was a premeditated intent to injure , I would suggest you have no idea how Rome plays , which is hard but fair .

He's not a Matt Cooke type of player .

Where did I say "premeditated intent to injure" or anything like that? Where did I even imply it?

See if you can come up with something better than "fuck you" this time.

You said that if the refs had set the tone earlier the Rome hit might not have happened .

Meaning what , that there would be no bodychecks in the game ?

Seems to me that it's everyone else that's whining , not me .

I said the Rome hit was late and that there was absolutely no way that it was a blindside hit , or a head targeting Rule 48 hit .

As it turns out , I was correct , because that is also what the discipline committee decided .

I also said that there is no chance that Rome would be suspended for the hit , because it was not called a Rule 48 hit by the on ice officials , and I felt , correctly so , that the discipline committee would also judge the hit to not be a Rule 48 hit .

Interference majors almost never have suspensions tagged onto them , so I find it shocking not only that he was suspended , but that this hit received the longest suspension in Cup Final history .

I guess that this is the new protocol for suspensions where injuries have been incurred , last year this very same hit would not result in a suspension .

I'm done talking about this hit .

Jesus you are ignorant. I simply said "If the refs had set the tone early in the game, the Rome hit might not have happened." I didn't say checks wouldn't happen. I didn't say anything else either.
