bottom line the ebay ones are put together in places like veitnam in a sweat shop with workers making $1 a day. Cold solder joints etc, causes the led connections to break down with vibration.

OP if you dont mind sharing. where do you have your items manufactured?

I want in on these, but for the map lights only as we spoke via PM... by soft white you mean cool white right?? if so, i want white..

other question also referring back to my post earlier is:
warranty? what if an LED does go out? or malfunctions?

I am trying to work this out with my supplier! I will let everyone know, for now, the warranty goes...if it is a dead panel or bulb, check it as soon as it arrives, if it is, send it back and I will send you a new one! Within one week of the bulb coming to you I will replace it and b**** to my supplier

For LP bulbs since they are not weather proof and since most people realize that moisture does get into the LP bulb housing, I cannot replace these unless they are burned out from the minute you plug them!

Nice for what setup though!

none of the kits have lp bulbs because I dont have any in stock currently...so if your setup is as mentioned above and no lp bulbs, you will get a pm

Hey all, so today I paid a visit to LJ24 and picked up his interior LED Kit that he offers. I also have some pictures to show the installation process a bit.

Step 1: To install the dome light use a flat head screw driver and pop off the cover from the drivers side where the notch is (It will then hang like in the picture) make sure you are delicate when you do this so you don't scratch the plastic!! Then easily pull out the bulb then insert the new one.





Step 2: After testing to make sure everything is plugged in correctly use the provided 3M tape to stick it to the center of the dome area and re-snatch the light cover back and it should look like this when it is dark:



Step 3: Moving on to the map lights (Driver and passenger lights) easily pry with a flat head screwdriver on the outsides and pop the light covers off. Make sure you are delicate when you do this so you don't scratch the plastic!!

Step 4: Remove OEM bulbs delicately and then install the new lights. If you bought the basic kit just install the 5SMD led map lights and test, and if you bought the stage II kit install the bulb and test then 3M tape the panel however you desire.



On the left is the Stage II option, and the right is the base model bulb that LJ24 offers.



Step 5: Once the LED bulbs/panels are installed how you like just pop the map lenses back on just like you got them off. Then your map light should look like the following picture with the proper package selection.

Here is a picture comparing the two options side by side showing the difference in brightness.



Hope this helps everyone with the install... Coming up next is the pictures showing the brightness in the cab (which is bright as hell). Will be up shortly!

Hello again, the following picture are using the interior LED kit that LJ24 offers.

-In advance I do apologize if some picture aren't quite focused, I shut the flash off to take these pictures and my camera had a hard time.

Picture 1: This picture is showing the brightness of just the 5SMD LED map light (which is in the basic kit) on the passenger side of the vehicle, No other lights where on in the car.

Tempting, I only need the dome light though, I already have map LEDs and license plate ones.

 

I purchase the stage II kit with the license plate bulbs, after installing them during the day I took a random drive to test the LED interior kit that night and couldn't be happier. The LED kit that he sells is super bright which is helpful since my limo tint keeps it pretty dark in the back, now once I hit the dome light its like day. I also like how easy the install was... takes no more than 5 minutes.

I would recommend this LED interior kit to anyone that wants more light than the OEM bulbs provide. LJ24 made sure that I was happy with what I received and made sure everything worked properly. Thanks for a great product and I wish you success.
