I'm kind've wishing Romes was back in a couple games... I think it would've been nice to see the intensity level on the ice for the bruins if he was out there. There'd be headhunting for sure. Just throwing it out there, but do you think that may be the exact reason he's NOT allowed to come back for the series? It could turn into something ugly retaliation-wise. Maybe not wanting that kind've spectacle to take place factored into the NHL's decision?

Yeah i read an article not long ago that said he wanted to be top 5 in the league in salary. Thats just insane.

 

I also hear he has a SERIOUS offer in Russia if he goes back so they will have to pay up if they want him. Also anyone interested, Ehrhoff apparently asked for close to 6 mil per his last discussion and will likely hit UFA. Thats insane money IMO for him

 

If Brzy wants what people are saying he wants, I would think he has to be KHL bound. I can only think of 3 goalies that make over 6. Not only that, but in order to afford him if they really want him, who is Philly going to dumb to fit him under the cap? Jeff Carter possibly?

 

Ya they are is serious talks shopping Carter right now, but its gonna be hard with the 11 year contract. Teams like Toronto, SJ, and Edmonton (plus more I have not hear directly from Im sure) have gone on record saying they will never touch those long contracts. I have a VERY solid lead on them shopping Carter though, because Hartnell, Briere and Timonen have already said they want to stay (and have NTC/NMC) but Carters doesnt kick in until 2012-2013. Im guessing he is very pissed about the situation too after signing just months ago

Yeah i don't blame Carter for being pissed, thats pretty shitty. I did hear that Philly and Columbus are getting really close to a deal for Carter though. Haven't heard much about the pieces involved though, just that they are extremely interested.
