Hello guys Im looking into buying a 03 Tacoma Crew Cab TRD (2wd). The truck has 69k miles is a 2 owner truck and is in excellent shape super clean. The price is $13,900 is this a good deal?? Also the color of the truck is silver and the TRD sticker is silver, isn't the sticker suppose to be black??? Please let me know what you think guys. Thanks

By crew, do you mean Double Cab? / 4 doors?

i paid 13k for my 03 Double Cab 4x4 TRD/Limited with 98k miles on it. Single owner. From Massachusetts.

I'd say 13.9 is high. Esp for a 2wd... Also, i was unaware they made the DC in 2wd...

The silver/silver thing seems odd too.

Is this from a local ma and pa shop? do they have a website you can link us to?

Sounds like it would be an excellent truck to own with low miles, but that does seem a little high for a 2 wheel drive. I do know Tacomas are bringing a good price these days, because I did a lot of looking before I bought mine a few weeks ago.

The truck is a double cab (4 doors). So the price seems high guys he wont lower the price anymore. Thats what I thought about the sticker.

If it was a 4x4 it would be alright.

If it is a V6 and a true TRD it will have a Diff locker to the left of the sterring wheel by the light control.

I would look somewhere else if I was you. But the problem with that is you might not find another....I had a buddy who got excited to have a taco and he paid way to much for the truck when he should have waited.

X2 thats too high. low miles but still too high. I would keep looking you can find better deals out there if hes not willing to lower his price. But if you decide to get it make sure that diff lock button is there. If its not then 13,900 is WAYY too high.

I paid $12,900 for my 03' Ext Cab, 4x4 TRD with 55,000 miles on it last february. It books for more now then when I bought it.

What does Kelly blue book have it at for your area?

You could also travel out of state if that meant saving a few thousand.

Yeah I wouldn't pay much over 13(meaning, 13.250 or 13.500 TOPS). heck i spent 4-5 months trying to find my truck and all the 'perfect' ones that got bought by others before i could were in the 11.5-13k mark. I technically went $500 above what i was willing to pay and really *should* have paid. but i was sick of the search and wanted my damn truck! :D

but that's $500, not $900. Either way, it's your call. If he's being that stubborn and it realllly is a perfect 2wd TRD with that mileage, all service records (have you checked? Does he have proof of 60k mile service?) and no prior body damage (that would explain the silver/silver stickers...) Have you pull the Car-Fax or run the VIN through Toyota's site? The Car-Fax is worth it.

It's your wallet. I personally would never pay over 11-12k for 2wd, but you're in Texas right? I'm in Minnesota... so 4x4 is much more desirable here and if i remember right, 4x4 doesn't pull the same $ in the south as in the north.
