So more like what we call life insurance down here? Pays for funerals and such?

 

yes thats what i meant to say life insurance not health insurance. they really should call it death insurance.

all i know is thats not happening anytime soon for me and i wont care because i wont be paying for it.

 

Gotta pay for Dental and Eye as well. Can get insurance for that.

What portion of ambulance bills does the Government pay for? Down here we a problem collecting sometimes.

 

most bigger companies pay for their employees and their families eye and dental plans.

if you play hockey and you get your teeth knocked out in a game its paid for by hockey canada.

if you get hurt in a hockey game and need an ambulance its free. but other than that i have no idea.

 

Most places down here we have to pay some portion of the insurance. As a whole - do you feel the Government Health Care in Canada is better than how it is down here?

 

Blue Cross for family of five is about 900 bucks a year. About 80% coverage.

 

Soooo basically you have a Hockey Health Insurance Program?
