2011 seat belt chime mod

these seatbelt warnings are annoying..........

 

I am really hoping that someone figures out the new white clusters

 

Do the dash light mod but instead of soldering another LED back on just leave it off

 

Same here, I wear my seatbelt all the time, but its annoying if I take my seatbelt off to get my wallet or for any other reason.

 

I leave it set in my Taco because my wife won't always put her belt on. I tell her it won't stop dinging at her until she does. Much better compliance that way.

dealer turned it off, no charge
it's been 3 months and i still have little round dents on my fingers from holding the trip button down

my dealer wouldn't do mine and the next closest around is about 4 hours away.

 

show them p518 of the manual
it says these features can be customized to "your" preference
it's not up to the dealer to say no
talk to the GM or owner if ya have to
if that don't work call Toyota

 

if the dealers in the CHS area wont do it readily
stokes brown Toyota in Beaufort will turn it off

 

No way to get the light to stop flashing as well??

just did mine, will take it for a drive later and see how
it worked out. Although beeping for15 seconds or so really
didnt bug me much, would rather have a quick fix(other than tape )
for the light that continues flashing when the beeping finishes.

 

This doesn't work on the new 2011 built in 2011 they have a different cluster and the trick doesn't work it doesn't matter if u have ink or not. U can unplug the plug under the drivers seat but haven't figured out the passenger side

 

what will the plug disable, beep or beep and flashing light?

 

It disabled both I think but I know there isn't no more beep. But can't figure out the pass side ut doesn't work the same.

And any dealer in California unless u know the guy real well won't turn it off bc of there safety restrictions

Under the drivers seat I think there is only one but if there is 2 trial and error it won't Fuck anything up but is beatuful
