    I have a 6 in trailmaster lift kit witch is a pos I was wondering if anybody knew of another lift kit that would bolt up or take minor changes that I could buy thanks Ryan

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I don't know much about the trail master but I'm sure you would have to scrap the whole lift and buy a new drop-bracket lift.

    If I recall a certain *other* member with a trailmaster lift correctly... a crossmember gets removed in installation and therefore you cannot return to stock.

    Its very involved to go back to stock. You have to buy a new stock crossmember from toyota (500-800) dollars and get a shop to weld it back on if you cant weld yourself. Its pretty complicated, heres a link to look at that will give you a preview. Did you buy the truck with the DB lift?

    Yes the lift replaces the ucas and the crossmember is dropped my local offroad has said he could drop it back to stock

    Would you mind letting me know how much they charge you after your done? I have a buddy with an FJ with a 6'' and he is trying to go back to stock also. He bought it with the lift and then i introduced him into offroading and its to tall. Thanks!
