Has 17 k miles and has started creaking and squeaking - dealer said there was a tsb that has expired and wait for another. Anybody have insights/suggestions?

10,000 on mine and it's squeaking too. More when warm than when cold. So much that it almost sounds like a rattle in the front end.

    Curious to see responses.

Dirty suspensions will do that. It's a truck...most truck suspensions squeak. I couldn't care less.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Mine does too, but I expect it with all the mud I've ran through. Clean up the suspension and lube up them leafs.

    Dirty?

With exactly 9,788 miles, it's a show ready mall crawler (for now), and is in no way due to dirt. Now it may have something to do with installing a 3" spacer/AAL level lift recently, but this squeaking/rattle still seems excessive. I'm hoping to have time this weekend to look into it.

pull apart your leaf packs and clean them, then lube each individual leaf with lithium grease.....no more squeaking

    And what about the front?

Lube them as well I suppose...Damn, I just got her re-aligned too.

Guess she's gonna squeak for a while. ;)

are you sure that your front is squeaking? yes you could put some grease on the top and bottom of the coil springs, where ever the spring contacts the strut and the strut hat, but unless you've heard it directly from your front end, i bet its just the rear suspension that is squeaking

Oh ya, it's the front suspension. It just started doing it prior to the 3" lift, but is more pronounced now. Ironically, she squeeks more when things are warmed, than when it's cool. Also, when I step on brakes from 10MPH to a stop (just to compress the front end) you hear the suspension squeak quite clearly.
