rough day, just want to go home

 

Hope your day gets better... only a couple more hours and it's the weekend...

 

true. at least it wasn't as bad as last night

went to go see Hangover 2 with my roommate. on the drive to the theatre, its starts POURING rain. as we run inside, my pack of cigs pop out of my pocket and into a puddle

after the trailers roll, the warning to turn off your cell phones comes on. I reach in my pocket, nothing.

so now I'm worried it fell into a puddle also, so I go back outside, into the driving rain, and get completely drenched. water gets in my eyes and screws with my contacts, I can't see anything

finally found my buddys car, open it up, and there is my phone, safe and sound. at this point, I'm as wet as can be, so theres no point in trying to run back to the theater. I walk in, take my seat, and finish the movie. after its over, I get up to find that I left the seat completely saturated and there's a puddle of water on the floor.

I get home, dry off, and figure to do some dishes to calm down. set a glass and a mug in the drying board, and they decide they want to jump out and break into a thousand pieces.

I just cleaned them up and went to bed. The End.

 

I guess you did have a crappy night.

Sounds funny when reading it now, but I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time...

 

yeah, I don't think I've been that mad in a long time. oh well, today's a new day

boss not around, I suppose??

 

computer program we use not working... can't do much without it

 

took the day off work to have an a/c installed today. guys show up this morning and i figure i better check out whats being installed. turns out they brought the wrong unit with them and everything was wrong from the start (told the sales guy what i wanted, he wrote it down with a price for another unit for comparison and they ordered that one.).

did a bunch of running around and now waiting for them to come back with a different unit

 

But in my defense, the last movie I saw in the theatre was Toy Story 2. I don't get out much.

the guys are back now with an upgraded unit. gonna give it to me for the price of a basic unit and 400$ off

He's maintaining his own. He's 18 and in kidney failure. I give him sub cutaneous IV fluids every day and vitamin supplements. I used to bring him in every week for blood count and kidney function labs - but now we've graduated to 3 weeks. Woo hoo!

 

Poor kitty. Good you can still take care of him.
