    Hey guys,
I just got a new Tacoma last week and joined the board a few days ago and thought I'd post.
I was looking for a Tacoma for about two months before getting this one. It's an 01, 2.7, and 4x4. It has a 2.5" lift and 33" tires on it. Only upgrades I have planned so far are fender flares and window tint. I might paint the rims black as well. So far I love it!

Thanks guys! I'm loving it so far!
Just ordered a deck plate last night. Can't wait to get that put in. Also took off the badges and plan on painting them blue today or tomorrow.
I'm thinking about taking off the brush guard. Any thoughts?

Personally, I like the brush guard. I have one mounted on mine...just need to update my pics. For some reason, yours seems a little off on the sides.

Is that all you have Is a 2.5 inch lift and you fit 33's? No body lift? Did you have to trim alot? Wat lift do you have?

Yeah, the brush guard is a little bit off. I haven't gotten around to messing with it to see if I can get it to sit right.
DenimDan, I bought the truck with the lift already done. The seller told me it was just a 2.5" lift but he may have had to do more too. I'm not sure what type of lift it is. I'm new to trucks and off roading but trying to learn as I go.

    Nice truck!
You need to get a bed-mounted light bar...

I really like it with the brush guard... Just lose the chrome fender trim or paint it black.

I hate the chrome trim. It's on the outside of the bed too but it's hard to see in the pics. I plan on getting new fender flares soon but painting them in the mean time is a good idea!
