ghetto shit! hahaha did you get rear fiberglass yet? how are you planning on lining the inner part of it and making them fit tighter, i just put some on today and got some pics in my build but idk how i should make them more sturdy, i got the stock holders to work but they are still flimsy on the bottom...

yeah you can actually see them leaning on the wall in once of the pics I snapped. Not sure how I'm going to make em tighter. Geoff from GIANT said use 1/4" conduit and screw through the conduit into the glass. I thought it was a weird idea but he says it works pretty well.

dangit dont tell me that ahh..well hopefully I finish tomorrow. They seem pretty tight right now..if they were to crack, that'd be bad right now..that's the only thing holding it up right now..once I get the axle and spring back on, I can remove the jack stands and just use the axle to lift the back

We have an air chisel and hammer and they still didn't come..to allllll day to get 8 rivets out and the new springs hung

you talked to them and they said they'd fix it ? What about the diff mounts? You have to buy or they have extra off another truck?

ahh hopefully it was a 4x4

Ended up spending $20 bucks on a nice 1/2" drill bit and $4 on a smaller pilot drill bit and drilling them out. Even with that it was still a pain in the ass. My wrists and forearms are so soar

Got it all up and running ;) It rides soooo smooth! I need a bit more weight in the back though, I can tell. Also, this weekend, I am going to be making the bed cage stronger. Going to add a few more tubes and gussets

I really want to reinforace the bed cage some more before I take it out. I would hate for it to break on my first run. Also, I still need to put my limit straps and extended brake lines on :anonymous: (I still have the extended brake lines from the 6" procomp kit so it really isn't that bad. On full droop, they could use another 2")

Also I think I am going to buy a couple of these for the rear shocks: http://www.etrailer.com/Locks/Master-Lock/262DAT.html

yeah, dont sweat the cage... it'll be fine... if something should be "beefed up" i'd say the shock mounts, but those still look strong enough as they are

but you should get straps and brake lines on before you take it out
