Could someone please spell out the rules for having a for sale thread?

I post a for sale thread, for a legit item. Trying to make a few bucks, the American dream.

I posted a description, a picture, and the thread gets deleted??

    Someone please explain!

Really? You have got to be desperate to even think about selling a hacked stock exhaust pipe covered in silver plastic...or you're

Yes, I did post that for sale. I didn't see a problem with it, at all. I guess this forum doesn't really want to help people make their trucks look sweet?

I will try to post it again later following te quoted rules.

This would be a great it for those guys that cut their tail pipe off, thinking they were actually gonna wheel offroad. Then they decided they were pansies and didnt want to damage their truck. That way they could pit this shiny tail pipe back on, with the ease of a small weld!

    Werd...

It was just a poorly done hack-off job of about the last foot of exhaust pipe covered in silver plasti dip.

    It wasn't even shiny!!!

The most surprising thing to me about all this is that they make plastidip in colors other than black.

So a serious question here. Why was the tailpipe plastidipped silver? Isn't the stock pipe silver? Also won't plastidip melt at exhaust-like temps?

Are you really serious about this sale? I mean come on man, take a step back and just look at the thing.

Its a foot of exhaust pipe covered in silver plastic! It has to be scraped clean first to be able to be welded on, you have to get an adapter as well probably.

Exhaust=heat, plastic melts when in contact with heat. You may think this is a legit item, but no one will ever take this seriously and no one will buy it. Its not cost effective, its not good looking, and its slightly dangerous.

Advice from a non delusional individual, cut your losses and move on.

I cut the pipe, so someone else could enjoy it. I thought it would be much better to do this that destroy it on a parking curb somewhere...

Silver plasti dip is great! This did say high heat. I think it is made for grills. So it will no melt off, they tail pipe doesn't get as hot as a grill.

If you are worried about messing of the plasti dip during the weld process, I will send a small sample of touch up plast dip. Problem solved. If you are a good welder, you should damage very little if any of the shiny silver plasti dip.
