ive thought about it, and seen some pictures, ant it doesnt look too hot. It would look goofy because the part below the chrome would be a different color, and even if i paint the whole thing its just tooo dark down there.

Dude the truck looks good I like it the way it is. Keep it chrome or replace the whloe bumper but that bumper painted all black would look goofy.

I hate that I can't quote people on my phone. But what if you just ruff up the chrome and spray paint it black.

i think im still going to leave it. then i would have a two tone, black and washed out black bumper.

...and there might be plans for an off road bumper soon, so im not worried.

Removed the air snorkel from the airbox and the filter from the airbox, and shot the
MAF sensor at both ends with MAF cleaner. Cleaned the batt terminals and cable connectors while they were disconnected for the MAF cleaning.
Since I did the elbow mod awhile back, I removed the marker light on that side and tied back the 2 wiring harnesses that run right through the air flow area from the front bumper, so that there is that much more air pushing towards the intake hole, then reinstalled the marker light. Don't know if that made a hair of difference, but everything I did combined made the ol butt dyno happier:D

Unplug the 4wd sensor on your t case. IT wont tell your ADD to lock unless you manualy do it. Similar to the Grey wire mod, but for 4WD instead of the locker.

I use it more in boston traffic than on the trails. Its nice to not have to clutch all the time in heavy traffic. Probably my favorite mod ever.

Lets you put the Transfercase in Low range without activating 4wd. You can turn easyier on tight trails. Or crawl along in traffic without the front end engaged.
