Rear spring packs

How much lift did they give you?

 

I didn't measure but about 2 1/2".

Did you have to install the carrier bearing drop?

 

That's the same part I ordered, but they are cheaper and on sale at trdparts4u.com $333.88 for a set of 2 plus about $100 to ship.

Did you do the carrier bearing drop?

 

I have a custom Tom Wood's 1 piece drive shaft so my carrier bearing is long gone . I did have it shimmed before the driveshaft swap.

 

I have the carrier bearing drop, it only drops it 3/8". I don't seem to have any vibes in the back.

 

What rear shocks do you have? I'm really stuck today trying to decide on OME or Bilstein.

 

I'm running the Bilsteins in the rear.

 

Have you considered the Deaver Mini Pack...? cost effective and increased travel and night and day difference from the traditional AAL...

 

I've got the OME shocks in the rear. Nice shocks big and beefy. I've also heard that the Deaver mini pack is really nice, it wasn't much cheaper then my OME springs though.

 

have you ever consider to install some air lift (air bags) great for towing and easy to instal and adjust to the hight you whant. I pull a 31' trailler and even with no torsion bars the truck stays level. It is a bit more rough and brought the back of the truck about 3".
