My wife and I de-badged the taco last weekend specifically to add Sock's retro "TOYOTA" tailgate decal in flat black. Again, another great decal from Sockmonkey! Excellent (3M) quality; fast shipping; super-easy application!

My wife and I did this in 10min this evening... hardest part was ensuring we aligned it perfectly. Just followed Sock's detailed instructions and done! We washed the truck and then clay-barred the tailgate to ensure no imperfection/grit would be present under the decal.

Thanks Sock... will be ordering more soon!

So easy... and I think it should be stock even on newer trucks. Please post pics of yours when you get it on.

Looks good! Here's mine, I put them on a few weeks ago, and Plasti-dipped the rear bumper the week before as well. The bumper looks dirty in this pic because it has been raining forever here and the mud and crap keep bouncing up onto it.

I'm really interested in getting one of these for my truck. I just need yall's opinion on which color sticker would go best. I have a black de-emblemed taco with tinted tail lights and I'm not sure if I should buy the "TOYOTA" sticker in white or black.

    Thoughts/opinions!!??
