Yeah i should have taken a little longer to sand. I did the entire mod in just under 24 hours, including 8 hours of sleep. Looks okay but im sure yours will be better. I seriously doubt that Keith. This reminds me of when i decided to tape and float my own sheetrock. Every sheet ended up with 20 pounds of mud and i was always one day away from finishing. BTW, whats the backspacing on your wheels?

    Thank you.

yeah it did kind of remind me of drywalling now that you mention it.

My wheels have 5.4" backspacing, but they are 9" wide so they stick out the same amount as an 8" wide wheel with 4.5" bs.

Here's a shot of the n-fabs, with the mounting tabs bent so there is less gap. I tried to get a shot of the bent tabs but you can't really tell they are bent from the pics.

The grillcraft actually worked out better than I thought it would. I attached it using zip ties. 2 on the top, 2 on the sides, and one on the bottom.

Take a look behind the grill and I think you'll see what tabs I attached it to. (I had to drill two holes for the side ones).

If not I'll pull the grille off and take a pic for you. Let me know.

:spy: What picture are you looking at?

I've had the bed cover for a year and a half, and took the SR5 decals off last year.
