I usually go to Gordons Well but have been to Glamis too. I like the Well better since its less crowded and has a better Sand Drag. took my 06 Taco out there all the time. destroyed all the other trucks. Power to Weight ratio on the Tacos is awesome!

Lol no if you have a locker and air down out by where we camp you will be good. Not really in the middle of dunes. Just trails around the dunes. Its really fun

Yeah there is alot more area with that type of sand in glamis if you know where to go. Its like trails that lead up the hill to the sand drags at gordons. All whooped out but decent sand

I hate those trails. lol leaving from camp and heading to the drags it takes forever. The sand highway to Glamis was the most fun Ive had out there. just flying over those long rolling hills at like 60. lol

I dont like the ones at gordons either. Im just saying the sand is like that. Its not bury yourself middle of the dunes sand. And tons of trails with that kind of sand

I'm down to try and make it. I'm sure I can find someone at Ft. Irwin with a trailer to pull my truck out there. If I do Glamis I'm going back with something broken or I failed.

ha I gotchya. I was speaking in general terms. It's worth to make the trip now (for me) since I'm networked with all of you guys. I'll still have some leave to use up later in the year, and going there would be a great way to use it.

yeah. its death out there now. winter is the only time to go. if you want to really experience it man.. go on Thanksgiving. OR.. not sure if you guys have heard of it. but Glamis Status. in Surprise at Speedworld. every other saturday night of the month from 8-1AM its a giant desert party. sand drags, mud pits, music, cars, trucks, bikes, atvs, pole dancing and wet t shirt contest starting at Midnight. we usually have a big group that go out there. Our buddy has a clothing company he is starting called WestSidaz. sponsors a Lite trophy truck and some other stuff. First time we went out there we had our pop ups set up and a BBQ. owned the sand drags, and my girlfriend won the wet t shirt contest! 300 bucks. they call up random girls from the crowd and they compete. was pretty surprised they called her up but she ended up winning it! check out their website. Google "Glamis Status" we should get a group from TW to go set up out there and BBQ sometime.

Matt: im sure if you look through the pictures youll see her and us in the crowd. lol
