    But he didn't have to be rescued by a truck...just a hi-lift.

It was a lot of fun. Maybe next time Craig!

Here are the shots I MISTAKENLY posted on the wrong thread...just a little tired after getting up so early to make sure you all had a nice fire to wake up to.

    I'm surrounded!

All lined up...I had a blast on this sunset run!

    The obligatory group pic.

The mud hole I got stuck in...Tony got me out (with brute FORCE) and almost ran me into the tree on the left!

Ben followed Lisa's "safe" route...didn't want to risk having to get pulled out by a 2nd gen!

Just before Lisa bounced her rear diff off a rock and Ben intensely watching her line...

I don't know about you all but I'm looking forward to sleeping in my nice, cozy, warm, dry bed tonight and not on the ground!

All of the creaking coming from my truck in the last bit there....that was my brakes. My truck desperately needed a break after all of that!

 No prob...its sort of become my 'job' here! But I like to get to new places and explore new trails and its always better (safer) to do that sort of thing with a group so its all good.

I have to say tony did a excellent job of parallel parking his rear diff and front tire between rocks.

Sweet! Thanks for the video Ben! Too bad we couldn't get more footage/pictures of further down the trail when it started to get really hairy. I think we were mostly more concerned of keeping our noses clean more than taking pictures at that point... I know I was. I ended up having a blast though! I would love to do that trail again someday soon here, especially when I am a little better equipped.

Lol I am not sure if ill be able to make it though as im taking the first 2 weeks in august to go to minnesota and I doubt they will give me any more time. If something comes up though ill be there for sure!

Yeah, I didn't take that turn quite wide enough and felt it come up...I got that feeling of "Oh crap, I've been here before..." and that first time didn't end well. Just had to back up a bit and take a better line.

A huge thanks to Lisa for setting everything up. Tim, James, Thomas, and I had a fantastic time. Thanks to everyone else who came as well...I look forward to seeing all of you again and you are always welcome in my neck of the woods!

Ben, once we get some more snow to melt, I can take you on some cool roads/trails around here.

Now off to bed and dreams of more weekends just like this last one (minus the rain)! :D

Thank you Lisa for all the work you did and talking to Rich about showing us around. Really hope it was worth while enough to do again:D

I would even go to the same spot again since I don't think we got close to seeing everything that area had to offer:)
