Personally I wouldn't go above 6000K which will still have a slight blue tint without the sacrifice of loosing your brightness. 8K-10K get bluer but you loose brightness and anything above that gets a little purple. So it just depends on what your making the upgrade for looks or better visibility. I hope that helps your decision making. :)

Exactly what they said. Quality is a big part and an even bigger part if you need to use the warranty it is dealt through me and I take care of every claim asap. Some other companies claim 3 year warranty or "lifetime" warranty but that is all a ploy to get you to buy their kit. I have heard of horror stories about eBay and trying to get a part replaced if anything goes bad under warranty.

i think 6000 k headlights and 4300 k fogs would look sick, those yellow fog light covers are a bit much for me but a slight hue would be cool

Take a look at this first: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/gr...y-round-22-ends-05-17-11-a-7.html#post3261526

Personally if you got 6000k heads and 4300k fogs, I think it would look like you got two different brands and they didn't quite come out to the same color. You know what I mean? I would recommend either getting the same color for both, or going deep yellow (3000k) for the fogs and 4300k or 6000k for the heads

Just wanted to let you guys know who are on the fence that these lights are awesome. I got in on the last group buy for headlights & fogs and they are incredibly bright and were super easy to install using the forum guide. Definitely worth the money. Thanks for the great HID's slimcubby!

Your web page designer is slacking. I bet there would have been tons of people on this forum that could have cranked it out. Hope it looks awesome when its done tho. Do you have a ETA of when its suppose to be up and running?

    BUMP!

I just want to make sure there are now bugs before I go live. It's going to be sick tho! I am very excited to get it up for you guys to see. ;)

Haha... well sorry I didn't mean to insult you by saying your slacking, if your personally doing it then I totally understand.. gotta be a perfectionist.

I know I allready have somewhat asked you this question before but I might just order these HID today since I got my pay check.... So I have "D2S: PHILIPS 85122+" in my retrofitted headlights, it says that "They produce a pure white 4300K output." So what I was wondering is will the 4300k bulb you sell defiantly match the philips bulbs... or should I purchase philips 85122+ to make sure they are identical (and if so do you have a hook on those bulbs?)

Forgive this stupid question, have been researching HID this weekend, have to replace a burnt out bulb. Can Slim's kits be used with the FXR or Morimoto projectors? Does he sell these together with the kits?

Is this Group Deal still on?

    thanks,
    Dan

It depends on what bulb size you need. Most likely I can get the kit that will replace your current bulbs with my kit. I don't sell the projector's just the conversion kits. And yes the GB is still on it ends on the 15th.

Lol no problem not insulted at all. I am just as eager as most of you are to see it live. I hope everyone likes it. Also, I can't say to be certain my bulb temperatures will match 100% to your current kit. But what you can do is get replacement bulbs for both heads and a fog kit through me and know for sure they will match. Or just do the fogs alone and see if they match it's totally up to you.

You're paypal invoice was sent out. Disregard my PM asking if you were ordering the right bulb size now that I see you are replacing project bulbs. :)
