Always appreciate a little bloodshed in the forums. Sucks to have it happen on a new truck!

    Unplanned upgrade list...
    eBay black headlights
    eBay or pre-made satoshi grille
Your choice plate or tube bumper

The fender will probably need to be replaced with Toyota OEM.

Nice blood spray on the bumper. Seriously, random animals on the road can be deadly. One of the docs I used to work with was killed when he hit a donkey. We get those kind of animals here in SoCal. Glad you're ok. The Taco can be fixed:)

As long as the hood is okay, it should be a super-easy fix for you to do yourself. You'll just have to get your fender painted. If the hood is bent, its a PITA to get all of those lines right again.

    Haha...not doing it...can't make me!
I hit a dog one time...same side fender, jacked up my car good, I felt so bad! I get out of the car as it is dying and some guy walks up in a leather jacket and mowhawk "oh no, man! I'm in so much trouble". I'm shitting my pants at this point! He says "I was baby sitting this dog for a friend and he got out, I couldn't catch him"...SHIT...

The guy was very understanding as he saw exactly what happened, I got in the car and drove off after apologizing. I had to cover the damn cost of the car though...I felt too bad for the guy.

I really want to see a tacoma with an arb or rentless bumper hit a deer. Just to see if it protects the whole thing.

You'd think the insurance companies would start sponsoring deer hunts.
