Sorry not a Tacoma question. My wife has a convertible Beetle. It has the light brown top. Well it is hell to keep clean. Does anyone have a suggestion and experience on the best product to use for cleaning and protection? Thanks in advance.

for my dads i have always just used, regular car wash just carefully apply it and use gentle water flow to wash it off.

no leaks or problems for 7 years so far.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Wash with car wash of choice, dry, and follow with 303 Aerospace Protectant. It last longer than other protectants, and won't feel oily. You can usually find it at marine suppliers, eg, West Marine.

Yessir.. Use 303 products on that. They make a convertible top cleaner. After its cleaned and dry, use their fab protectant assuming its fabric.
For leather/vinyl, use their aerospace protectant.

Raggtop will work well too. I've just always personally used 303, which is why I can recommend it.
