That's what happens with a good product when it becomes very popular.

Thats not a whole third though right? Do you have to re-set your backlash and all the other things I cant think of right now when you install one of these things?

So its just a replacement for the spider gears, and you get to keep your original carrier, or is the carrier replaced also?

If I only had an extra $400, I would jump on that now. I am not technically inclined enough to do that mod on my own but if I could get someone to help me out.

That and figuring out how to hold everything firm enough to break all the high torque bolts... and then torque them back down when done.

I've only completely rebuilt one diff, and that was a chrysler 9.25 (put in a auburn posi after the open diff burnt up). I have a pretty decent understanding of their operation from that though.

EDIT: I f-ing hate chrysler 9.25's... One of the many reasons I could never own a jeep :D

\/\/\/\/ I was here just a few minutes ago but you guys ignored me :(

The LT's are going to have a much stiffer sidewall and will ride harsher on paved roads.

For strictly on-road, the LT is complete overkill for the tacoma, because the load rating for the tires is actualy way above the payload capacity of our trucks.

The only consideration for LT is that the sidewall will be stiffer and more durable, helping with durability offroad. If you are looking for offroad performance, the LT's will definitely be stronger.
