yea, because it works...it makes sense and it works.
If your so sure about this mod then why dont you add a ground to the AC compressor, the compass and temp sensor, whatever else you can find?

I don't know, I suppose the rear section of the frame and a throttle body isolated in-between two sections of plastic are comparable in theory.

Chewing gum acts as an insulator wrapped around the tape...but us real men don't need no stinkin insulation.

HAHA this thread turned into so much win!

Bradley i know we have all spent more time on this thread than it takes to do the mod but i am also like 6000 miles away from my truck and have nothing better to do than debate this.

I'm just gonna ground my whole truck. Anybody got any really long ground wire? I'm thinking of putting the ground post at my house, and I drive to work about 30 miles from there.

After seeing a couple posts on this throttle body grounding, I actually looked into it to see if there was anything to it despite how useless it sounds. What I found was there's a thread on damn near every car forum on this topic, all stemming from and referencing the same damn Mazda 3 forum where they claimed it had huge results... What does that tell you, you're relying on subjective evidence from group of people who bought a Mazda 3. I rest my case.

Oh, I should also add that every thread pretty much ended like this one where the OP and his few supporters got flamed :D

In before someone notices the ground wires leading to their knuckles/brakes.

(which are there to dissipate static electricity...)

yes but they are grounded to the frame. which has resistance to the battery. if they were grounded directly to the negative terminal itd be way more efficient and relieve the electrical system of unnecessary load...;)

its actually amazing how much everybody uses electricity yet know so little about it...

Yes, it is. Like a comparison to a section of frame (chassis ground) to a metal component isolated in between two sections of plastic.
